198 East Bay St. renovation is an adaptive reuse of the second and third floors of an historical three-story, early 18th century, brick building with heavy timber framing.

The original building was built as a warehouse serving the Brent Charleston Harbor Port.

The design program was to expose as much of the brick and heavy timber construction of the historical building as possible with the newer elements being introduced as contemporary glass walls, and clean contemporary lines.

The centerpiece of the office is a glass room open for viewing the assembly of a custom-made high-powered computer server, which is what this business does for its clients!
