The original inspiration came from Rick’s bar in the Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman movie Casablanca.

This establishment named after the very first European coffee house on record which was established in Austria, in the late 1400s  after the ottoman empires retreat from the siege of Austria, leaving all of the supplies, including a new unknown space to Europe, which later became known as coffee.

The previous use of the building was a shipping office, which was transformed into an open space of arches and curved bar made to feel like you were in it some kind of Turkish or Moroccan bizarre.
